Sabang Beach: Your waves called me, and so I came!

- the busiest part of Baler! Facing the Pacific ocean, Sabang is truly a playground for all levels of wave-riders and beach goers.

Surfing 101: Leave your worries behind, throw your fears and enjoy the waves!

God created the heavens and the earth, the oceans and the waves for our enjoyment. 

Surfing is just my way of worshiping Him.

                  The memorable part of this Baler exploration was my first-ever-ride with the waves. Truly soul-satisfying!

As I stand on the shore, watching the waves, they reminded me of the movie “Soul Surfer” – the story of Bethany Hamilton, a shark attack survivor who lost her arm that inspired the world by how she dealt with life’s difficulties.

Here are some of her inspiring messages:

"Whatever your situation might be, set your mind to whatever you want to do and put a good attitude in it, and I believe that you can succeed. You are not going to get anywhere just sitting on your butt and moping around."

"It's easy to look at the things of this world to solve our challenges and obstacles in life, 

but when we submit our lives to Christ, His grace, mercy, peace and love 

will bring true fulfillment to our lives."

An ancestral house, museum, surfing spot, waterfalls, cold spring/river, and historical places to name a few of the numerous attractions that can be found in the province of Aurora.

Baler has undeniably become the most recognized tourist destination in the province. Often times, when we think of Baler, we instantly thought about surfing. But, it’s more than that! Great taste of native foods and hospitable people was a big plus.

As we always viewed on Facebook and Instagram posts as today’s widely known summer destination, the dream-adventure for this province came to an end. yeeedahh!!
